Master class on how to make an origami owl from one leaf:

1. Prepare a square piece of paper and bend it diagonally twice (Illustration 1).
2. Straighten the paper.
3. Fold the top corner by one third of half the sheet (Illustration 2).
4. Fold the bottom corner to the folded one so that their tops touch (Illustration 3).
5. Wrap the right and left parts of the figure (Illustration 4).
6. Unscrew the corner of the inner triangle (Illustration 5).

Instructions on how to create an owl with wings using the origami technique:

1. Bend a sheet of paper twice along the floors diagonally (picture 1).
2. Fold the top corner over one other half of the figure (picture 2).
3. and fold it in half (picture 3).
4. Tuck the right and left sides a few millimeters (picture 4).
5. Fold the bottom corner so that its tip reaches the top triangle (picture 5).
6. Unscrew the small tip of the large triangle (picture 6).
7. Connect the right corner with the fold in the center (picture 7). Straighten out the corner.
8. Fold the right corner to the formed fold line (picture 8).
9. Fold the right side over again (picture 9).
10. Turn the figure over to the reverse side (picture 10).
11. Unscrew the right side (picture 11).
12. Tuck in the left corner of the figure (picture 12).
13. Wrap half of the tucked part (picture 13).
14. Hide part of the figure (picture 14).
15. Turn the craft back over (picture 15).
16. Carefully fold the right corner back (picture 16).

Making 3D modules for an owl

To make a three-dimensional owl using the origami technique, you need to prepare blanks called modules.

How to assemble a module (master class):

1. Take a small piece of paper.
2. Fold the sheet in half lengthwise (Illustration 1).
3. Fold the rectangle in half again (Image 2).
4. Straighten your figure.
5. Fold the right and left parts of the rectangle to the resulting fold line (Illustration 3).
6. Turn the part over (Illustration 4).
7. Trim off the bottom edges.
8. Fold the edges as shown in illustration 5.
9. Fold the shape in half (Illustration 6).

To create an owl using the modular origami technique, you need a lot of such blanks. You also need to consider what color your craft will be. Maybe you want to make it not monochromatic and highlight the muzzle and tummy.

Owl: modular origami

Any such craft begins by assembling the first row:

1. Place the two modules in the same way as in picture 1. That is, they should touch the sides.
2. Place the third module on top of both sides (picture 2).
3. Add another module down and put the fifth one on top (picture 3).
4. Gradually, you can make two rows of the base of any origami craft (picture 4).
5. When the row is completed, secure the first and last blanks with a module (picture 5).
6. The next row is put on the modules of the second (picture 6).
7. Then the craft is turned over and all subsequent modules are put on top (picture 7).

Wherever your imagination and possibilities lead you, that’s how the owl will turn out. the assembly scheme of which can be very simple or, on the contrary, very complex, gives unlimited possibilities for creativity.

For example, you can make such a craft - an owl with ears, as in the picture above. To do this, take only two colors to create modules. When creating the first two rows, keep in mind that your craft will have a tummy highlighted. Therefore, first assemble several modules of color A, and then add color B. This way, completely connect a figure resembling an egg. On the sides at the top at the end, attach a couple of models that will represent ears. Cut out eyes from paper and glue them onto the finished craft.

As you can see, you can make a more complex owl, which will have a separate body and head. First you need to make modules of different colors. For example, black, white, brown, orange and red. Then assemble the lower part of the owl - the body. Alternate modules by color. White is the belly, brown is the plumage, and orange is the edge of the wings.

When the body is ready, you need to assemble the head. Here you need to highlight the eyes with white and black modules, and make a beak out of three red ones. Then simply put the head on the body. All! The modular craft is ready!

You can also make a 3D owl with spread wings. But this is a more difficult job, since during assembly of the main part you need to make protrusions on the sides. They are then assembled from additional modules with wings.

For beginners and children the simplest owl step by step

Fold a square sheet of paper (12x12 cm in size) in half with the colored side inward.

We unfold it and bend it in half again, but with the other sides.

Without unfolding, bend it in half again.

Let's expand. We have a square divided into 8 rectangles. We place the workpiece with the colored side up so that the rectangles are lengthwise and bend the bottom line to the one marked in the center.

Unfold and bend the bottommost squares in half diagonally.

We turn it over and bend the bottom line to the first line parallel to it.

Carefully bend the right and left edges.

Turn it over and fold the bottom edge towards the corners.

Now on the top part we bend the corners to the center, as for an airplane.

Now we both open the central triangle and bend it to the side lines.

Fold a square sheet of paper in half diagonally.

Unfold and bend diagonally again, connecting another pair of corners.

Unfold and fold in half again.

Unfold again, fold in half, connecting the other sides, and make the basic “double diamond” shape.

We bend the lower right part of the upper rhombus towards the center.

We do the same with the lower left part of the upper diamond. For convenience, you can rotate the product.

Carefully lift and slightly bend the triangle that appears at the top.

Today we will make crafts for an ordinary owl and a baby owl. So let's get to work and move on to the assembly diagram of our beauty.

1) First, let's make modules for our craft, we you will need white and black modules.

2) For the first three rows we need 24 modules for each row. We will connect the first two rows using this method: we place two modules on the long sides, and one on the short side, while closing the chain of modules into a ring.

3) Place the third row of modules with the long side up.

4) Turn our workpiece over and lightly press on the middle to give it a bowl shape. We put on the next four rows of modules with the long side outward, for each row we take 24 black modules.

5) Now we begin to collect the owl’s breast. We take 21 black modules and 3 white modules, continue to put them on with the long side outward, so that the white modules are in the middle between the black ones.

6) Then we begin to add one white module in each row, and decrease one black module at a time. So we will collect five rows, as a result there will be 7 white modules in the twelfth row.

7) In the thirteenth row, take 8 white and 16 black modules and now put them on with the short side out.

8) And in the fourteenth row we will again put on the modules with the long side outward. To make a beak, we put a black module on 2 central white modules of the previous row, and on each side of it we put 4 white modules and finish the row with black modules.

9) For the fifteenth row, you need to put 8 white modules with the short side inward on the white modules of the previous row and the central black one.

10) We will assemble the sixteenth row like this: on 2 central white modules we will put 1 black module with the long side outward, and on each side 4 white ones, only with the short side outward. We will end the row with black modules, put on with the long side out. Then for the seventeenth row you need to put 2 black modules with the short side outward on the central black module and the white ones adjacent to it, and finish the row again with black modules with the long side outward.

11) We make the eighteenth row: on 2 central modules we put 1 black one with the long side out. On both sides of it we put on one black and 4 white modules with the short side out. And we will finish the row again with black modules, put on with the long side out. And then we begin to make ears for the bird, leaving 4 central modules free. To do this, we put on 6 black modules with the short side facing out.

13) Now we will make wings for our figurine. To do this, take 3 black and 2 white modules and insert them into each other at one corner in one pocket. So our right wing is ready. And the left wing is made symmetrically.

14) Now we need to insert wings into our bird. To do this, on the ninth row we glue one white module with two corners outward on both sides and insert the wings into them.

15) Eyes for an owl can be made from either paper or buttons, or you can buy blanks at a hardware store.

Now let's conduct a master class on making a baby owl.

1) For this beautiful baby we you will need 228 modules: 157 purple, 62 white, 7 orange and 2 black.

2) For the first row, take 13 purple and 5 white modules, place them with the short side out. We place white modules between purple modules and close them into a ring.

3) For the second row, take 6 white and 12 purple modules, and also place them with the short side out.

4) For the third row, take 5 white and 13 purple modules, also with the short side out. After which we can turn out our craft.

5) In the fourth, fifth and sixth rows, the modules will be positioned with the long side outward. For the fourth row we take 6 white and 12 purple modules, for the fifth ─ 5 white and 13 purple, and for the sixth ─ 6 white and 12 purple.

6) In the seventh row, take 5 white and 13 purple modules and place them with the short side outward.

7) In the eighth row, place 2 white modules with the short side outward, and the remaining 4 white and 12 purple modules with the long side outward.

8) In the ninth row, place 1 orange module in the center, and on each side of it 2 white modules and 13 purple ones to the end of the row.

Important! Do not forget to place all modules with the long side facing out.

9) In the tenth row, the modules will be arranged like this: 2 white in the center, 1 black, 1 white, 12 purple, 1 white, 1 black.

10) In the eleventh row in the center we place 1 purple module, 2 white, 13 purple, 2 white.

11) For the twelfth row, we will take only 8 purple modules, which we will place in the center.

12) In the thirteenth row we will make the baby’s ears. On the modules of the previous row we put 3 modules on each side, and in the fourteenth row we put one module on each. Now our ears are ready.

13) Now you need to make the paws and tail. To do this, we put on 3 orange modules on the sides and 2 purple ones on the back.

14) And all that remains is to make the wings. Let's take 3 purple modules for each wing. And we'll insert them on the sides. This is what our baby owl will look like:
